Wow. Today was brutal at Cooden. Most people were on 3.7's and 4.2's and were overpowered for much of it. My smallest sail is a 4.5, which did me proud, although some of the gusts were way more than I've ever experienced. We had about 10 minutes of light rain at about 2.30pm, but other than that just clear sunny skies. Waves were good at times too - bruised my arse big time coming down from a jump in the style of 'Steve' in WC's photo above. That doesn't happen very often at Cooden, so the ramps must have been good. This is my last week of freedom before starting back at work - I wonder if I'll score a hat trick with a decent sail tomorrow too. Now that would be something.
